Why Did I Get a Renewal Notice if My Subscription is Already Paid?

Business Central and our Stripe billing platform can sometimes cause delays in updating your subscription.

Note: This document applies to all Suite Engine products. Subscription status for CSM, CPM, API Engine, RPM, Homebuilder, and any other Suite Engine applications are all checked from the same page in Business Central.

Business Central only checks your subscription status against Stripe once every 24 hours. If a payment or account issue was resolved shortly before that day's automatic check has completed, Business Central can still be showing the older status, which is what triggers the renewal notice, even though the subscription is actually current.

To resolve this issue:

  • In Business Central, search for Suite Engine Subscriptions and select the related link
    • Select Actions > Force Refresh in the ribbon
      • This bypasses the 24-hour wait and pulls your current status directly from Stripe.
    • Check the Applications FastTab
      • The subscription status should now reflect the correct, current state.

If the Force Refresh action doesn't resolve the issue:

  • On the Suite Engine Subscriptions page, note down your Customer ID, Address, and Email from the Account Information section

    • Select Actions > Un-Link from Current Account, confirm the prompt, and let it finish clearing the local subscription data.

    • Select Actions > Link to Existing Account and re-enter the Customer ID, Address, and Email you saved in step 1.

    • If any product in the Applications FastTab shows as Canceled that shouldn't be, select it and choose Reactivate Subscription.

  • Select Actions > Force Refresh again to confirm everything is now in sync.
