HOMEBUILDER: SALEFISH - NEW CONSTUCTION PROJECT

HomeBuilder - SaleFish - Setting Up a New Construction Project

Back to the SaleFish - HomeBuilder Title Page

You have already setup the SaleFish - HomeBuilder integration and just want to add a new Construction Project

What Links SaleFish to Business Central?

  • The SaleFish Project ID
  • A unique Phase identifier to be attached to each SaleFish Lot.

How to Find and Link the SaleFish Project ID

  • Find the SaleFish Project ID in https://sales.salefish.app/community. Click on “Availability” of the Project in question and the Project Code will be shown at the end of the URL e.g. A0999

  • In Business Central, create a new “Builder Project” with this code. Add a Name and make sure to turn on the flag “SaleFish Integration” (if you are going to be performing a test run in a copy company; do not turn on this flag quite yet).
  • Open the “Phase” that is to be used:
    • Add the Builder Project that you just created to the Project Code field on the Phase Card.

Create and Link a Unique Phase Identifier to each Lot in SaleFish

  • Choose a unique Phase identification code
    • An example of a unique Phase Identifier code could be PH1-HBTO where “PH1” is Phase 1, “HB” is an acronym for you as a builder and “TO” is an acronym for the Project.
    • If you are working with another builder on this project, you must have a different code than the other builder.
  • Enter the code:
    • Back in the “Phase” in which you just assigned the Project, enter this code to “SaleFish No.” field.
    • Now enter the same code to each of the Lots in SaleFish
      • From https://lm.salefishsoftware.net/ choose the Project and click into Project Setup. From Project (on the left) choose Lot Information.
      • You can perform a mass update by entering the Phase number in the “Value for >Phase” field and clicking on “Setup >Phase and Grading” button.
