      How do I create a Fixed Asset in RPM?

      Creating a Fixed Asset

      1. Go to the RPM Unit card that you want to create a fixed asset for.
      2. In the top ribbon, select Actions, Functions, Create Related Fixed Asset.
      3. Fill out the lines in the Options section of the Create Fixed Assets from RPM Units page.
        1. At minimum, fill in the Depreciation Book Code and FA Posting Group. If you do not enter a Depreciation Start date, depreciation will not be recorded.
      4. Click OK. You will now be back in the Unit Card and the Related Fixed Asset No. field should be filled in.
      5. Once ready, you can Activate the Unit in your fleet. Select Actions, Functions, Other, Activate RPM Unit. Be sure to select the proper activation date and location where the unit will be available for rent.
