How do I create an RPM Unit?

Creating RPM Units

Once a unit has been purchased for your rental fleet, you need to configure it to be put on rent.

1. Search for and open the RPM Unit List.
2. Select New in the top ribbon to create a new unit.
3. Enter the RPM Unit number in the first field. Optionally, you can let RPM assign the unit number for you using a No. Series.
4. Select the Subcategory. This will autofill the Description, Base Unit of Measure, RPM Product Line Code, and RPM Category Code in the General Fast-tab as well as autofill the Invoicing Fast-tab.
5. Enter a Serial number in the Serial No. field.
6. On the invoicing tab, enter the Original Equipment Cost and the Insured Value.
7. On the RPM Specifications tab at the bottom of the unit card, enter all of the relevant specifications.
