Amazon Maintenance - Rotating LWA Credentials

LWA (Login with Amazon) credentials must be rotated every 180 days. If the LWA credentials are not rotated, CSM will lose access to the Amazon connection.

 

How to rotate LWA credentials:

  1. Sign in to your developer account on Seller Central or Developer Central and navigate to the Developer Console page that lists all your applications.
  2. From the LWA credentials column, find the expiration alert icon and select View.

  3. Choose Rotate secret and then choose the confirmation Rotate secret again.
  4. Save the new Client secret in a secure place. This will be used to update your CSM credentials in the next step.

 

How to input your new Client secret and input it in CSM:

  1. Search for CSM API Set and select the related link
  2. Select the AMAZON_SPAPI Code and then select API Credentials from the ribbon

  3. You need to update the Client Secret for the API Credentials with CSM Function Codes "BLANK", GETACCESSTOKEN and GETASSUMEROLE.

    2. Click on the first API Set Code, scroll down to the AWS Signature FastTab and paste in your new Client Secret; repeat this for the next two API Set CodesAmazon - Update Client Secret in BC
  4. The last step is to test our API connection. Search for CSM Sales Channels and select the related link

  5. Select the related Amazon Sales Channel

  6. Click the APIs option on the ribbon and select Test Channel Communication and you should see the following popup on your screen
