Installing API Engine

Follow these steps for easy installation of API Engine.

Install from Microsoft AppSource

  1. In Business Central, search for and open Microsoft AppSource Apps and select the related link
    1. Search for Suite Engine, LLC or filter by Publisher
    2. Select the product(s) you want and choose Install App
      1. Installation may take a few minutes

 

Enable external communication

Once installed, each Suite Engine extension needs HTTP access turned on manually:

  1. In Business Central, search for and open Extension Management and select the related link
    1. Go to Extension Management.
    2. Select an installed Suite Engine extension
      1. Check Allow HttpClientRequests
    3. Repeat for every Suite Engine extension you installed (See Understanding API Engine's Extensions for what these are)
