HOMEBUILDER: MANUAL ENTRY
In this article, you will learn how to enter the first four fields of the sales line ...
Entering Phase, Lot, and Cost Details in sale lines with Type 'G/L Account'
Within this method, enter the first four fields of the sales line in the following order:
- Type, to be equal 'G/L Account'
- Quantity
- Phase Code
- Lot Code
- Cost Detail Code
Upon entering these fields, the system tries to associate the sales line with existing lot planning lines. If it is not possible, the system will create one upon confirmation by a user.
As a result, the sales line gets associated with lot planning lines (previously existing or newly created). Fields "No." and "Description" get populated from the Cost Detail record.
Entering No., Phase, Lot in sale lines with Type 'Item'

Upon entering these fields, the system tries to associate the sales line with existing lot planning lines. If it is not possible, the system will create one upon confirmation by a user.
As a result, the sales line gets associated with lot planning lines (previously existing or newly created). The field "Cost Detail Code" gets populated from the Item referenced by No.
