Initiating Sales
To initiate the sales process, open the Customer that is assigned to the Lot you are going to sell. From the New Document Menu, select the Sales Invoice button:
- This will bring up the Sales Invoice Card for this Customer.
- Go to Process, then select action Populate from Planning Lines.
In the pop-up page, select the Lot that is currently associated with the customer or was associated with the customer in the past and press "OK".
Note
One customer might be assigned to multiple Lots, and on each Lot, there could be additional sales lines, e.g., for the Selection Packages (Color Charts). This will open the page "Planning Lines Selection". Select the planning line you want to include in the invoice and click "Add Selected to Sales Lines".
As a result, the sales lines get populated.
