HOMEBUILDER PORTAL: BUYER OPERATIONS

Discover the various buyer actions available in the Portal, including the diary, installments, selection packages, schedules, service calls, weather, chats, and more.

This section explains the HomeBuilder Portal's functionality available to homebuyers. It will explain the menu items available on the left-hand side. We can customize which elements described below are available to your customers.

Diary

When Homebuyers log into the Portal, they will see a Diary as part of the main menu. After clicking, a non-editable diary log is visible:

Under 'Home,' it is possible to see the same picture under Recent Pictures.

Installments

Installments reflect the payments that are posted in the Business Central HomeBuilder software your Developer is using:

Selection Packages

These are open or released Selection Packages from the HomeBuilder software, showing your choices:

Schedule

It is a schedule of tasks required for construction, if made available by your Developer:

Service

The service menu displays the list of Service calls. “New Service Calls” will allow you to log the issue. The system will send it directly to the homebuilder.

It can be retrieved in HomeBuilder (the software) under Inspections:

Weather

This is simply a history of weather and the forecast (highlighted below):

Chats

Chats can be started by accessing the Chats menu and clicking Start new Chat:

Or from the Home menu.

Chats can take place between the Homebuilder and all Buyers, or privately:

You can attach a file or take a picture with the camera. Once complete, click Post.
