RPM: HOW TO SET UP UNITS OF MEASURE

Units of Measure

Units of Measure are directly related to RPM Units. You set up Units of Measure in the Units of Measure Page. When you create a new Units, you specify the base Unit of Measure on the RPM Unit Card.

Some examples of Units of Measure are EACH, HOUR, METER, PCS, DAY, FT, GAL.

  1. Search for Units of Measure.
  2. Select New in the top ribbon.
  3. Enter the Code and Description. An example Code: EACH, Description: Each.

When you create a new RPM Unit, you can choose the base Unit of Measure from the list of units of measure that you have now set up.

You can set up multiple units of measure for a unit from the RPM Unit Card. On the Ribbon, select Related, RPM Unit, RPM Units of Measure.  Select the Unit of Measure Code from the drop down, then fill in the Qty. per Unit of Measure.
