      How to set up Units of Measure?

      Units of Measure

      Units of Measure are directly related to RPM Units. You set up general Units of Measure in the Units of Measure Page. When you add new Units, you can specify the base Unit of Measure on the RPM Unit Card.

      Some examples of Units of Measure are EACH, HOUR, METER, PCS, DAY, FT, GAL.

      1. Search for Units of Measure.
      2. Select New in the top ribbon.
      3. Complete the field for Code and Description. You can hover over the field for a description. An example would be Code: EACH, Description: Each.

      When you create a new RPM Unit, you can choose the base Unit of Measure from the list of units of measure that you have now set up.

      You can also set up multiple units of measure for a unit.
