Walmart Quick Setup Wizard

Expedited process for setting up your Walmart sales channel.

Once you have set up a trial subscription and obtained the necessary credentials from Walmart, you are ready to load CSM for Walmart’s default API objects and automation routines, as well as set up your first sales channel in Business Central. To expedite this process, CSM includes a setup wizard.

  • Search for CSM Setup, or locate it from the CSM Role Center
  • From the Actions ribbon, choose Walmart Quick Setup
  • Select all options on page 1 and click Next
  • Page two is asking for identifying information of the sales channel you are setting up

    Code This is a unique code that identifies the sales channel. It can be any value you wish, but we recommend naming it something meaningful that describes the sales channel.  WALMART
    Description This is a text description of the sales channel.  Walmart eCommerce Store
    • Page three allows you to Load Walmart APi Data and Load CSM Triggers.  We recommend you select both, click Next
    • If you opted to load Walmart API Data, you will be prompted to specify information about the API sets CSM will use to communicate with Business Central.

    Walmart API Set Code This is a unique code that identifies the API set. By default, it will be assigned a value of WALMART, but you can change this to a different code that is more meaningful to you, if desired.  WALMART
    Walmart API Set Description This is a text description for the API set. By default, it will be assigned a value of Walmart Collection, but you can change this to a different description that is more meaningful to you, if desired.   Walmart API Data 
    Walmart Host URL This is the host URL endpoint on the Walmart platform. Normally it is https://marketplace.walmartapis.com, and this default is assigned in the field.

    • When you have finished entering setup information, choose Next 
    • On the confirmation page, choose next to instruct the wizard to load the data and create the sales channel
