One-Time Setup

A Global Setup is required in one Company to be run in this company for all Companies.

Note: This is an advanced setup and best handled by a HomeBuilder trained consultant.

SaleFish Setup

  • Search for and open the "SaleFish Setup" page - See below for a standard setup.
  • If you see information in this table, it is already setup.
    • If the "API Setup Company" is in red, move to that company and open the Setup Company there.
    • If the "API Setup Company" is in black, you are in the right place.
  • If you see nothing, you need to create the first record. Click on the “+” to create a record and then fill in as shown:

API Setup

  • To enable integration with the SaleFish server, you need to configure the API Engine. This is part of the prerequisites in the Installation section of this document and can be seen as the "Suite Engine API Engine Library"
  • In “Company Information” turn on the “API Sets” flag in the company that is the synchronization company.
  • In BC, search for and open the page "API Sets" or access from the HomeBuilder Setup page. In this page, execute the action "Import".
  • Upload the JSON import file with the settings for SaleFish (to be provided by a  HomeBuilder consultant).
  • After importing you should see a new API Set called "SALEFISH". Select it, click on the button – "API Credentials" from the Related button.
  • Edit the page and then enter your SaleFish credential information to the page "API Credentials" to the following fields:
    • ClientID
    • Client Secret
  • From Company Information – scroll to the “API Set” Fasttab and turn on “Contains API Set for SaleFish”.
  • You can run the integration manually from the API Sets page.
    • Run the first data integration manually.
      • Directly from the SaleFish Setup page – click on the Synchronize button.
      • Individually, through the list of API Functions – see the Fault-Finding section if you need to do this.
    • Review the three mapping tables.
    • Review the Staging tables.
